Fish feed production lines are automated equipment specifically designed for aquaculture of fish, shrimp, and ornamental fish. By adjusting process parameters such as raw materials, temperature, and moisture, they produce feed with novel shapes, rich nutrition, and a fine texture.
Fish feed machines are suitable for producing both dry and wet fish feed pellets (for catfish, aquariums, tilapia, freshwater fish, and tropical fish, etc.).

This easy-to-operate automated fish feed production line is widely used to convert grains into high-quality aquatic feed pellets for fish, catfish, shrimp, crab, and other species. The fish feed can float on the water for over 12 hours without dissolving.
The process includes raw material crushing, mixing, conveying, twin-screw extrusion, drying, cooling, and screening to ensure a highly mature and easily digestible product.
Includes a grinder and a screener. The raw materials must be ultra-finely ground to a size of 80 mesh or above to ensure fine particles. The screening process can remove impurities and ensure the purity of the raw materials.
A twin-shaft paddle mixer is used, and the coefficient of variation of mixing uniformity is ≤5% to avoid nutrient stratification. The temperature must be controlled not to exceed 40°C during mixing to prevent the inactivation of heat-sensitive ingredients (such as vitamins).
The starch is gelatinized by steam heating to improve the cohesiveness of the feed. The conditioning temperature is usually set at 85-90°C for 20-30 seconds. Excessively high temperatures will cause protein denaturation.
A low-shear screw design extruder is used to avoid destroying the nutrients. The density of the extruded feed is controlled at 0.3-0.5g/cm³ to facilitate the suspended feeding of loach fry.
A multi-layer belt dryer is used with temperature control in stages (60°C -> 50°C -> 40°C) to prevent cracking of the feed caused by high temperatures. The moisture content after cooling must be ≤10% to extend the shelf life.
The twin-screw extruder can process raw materials such as fresh meat and bone paste, solving the problem of insufficient expansion degree of traditional equipment. The product has various shapes (such as round, triangular, etc.), and the taste is closer to human food.
The production capacity supports the needs of large, medium and small enterprises. Parameters such as raw material ratio and temperature can be adjusted according to customers to achieve personalized production.
The equipment has good sealing performance and reduces heat loss; the multi-layer oven is equipped with a timed dehumidification device to improve drying efficiency.
